Plockton is at the heart of a wide community, which has long been known for its support of traditional music and Gaelic culture. The local notice boards outside the shop, hall and paper shop have advertisment on what's on.

Plockton Inn

The Plockton Inn have live traditional music every Thursday throughout the year and every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer months.

The bar is alive with customers and fantastic music from our local musicians, who are often joined by a selection of talented youngsters from The National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music, which is based here in the village.
